Aadhaar payment app  simple way to digital transactions

The government is coming up with an 'Aadhaar Payment App' that could silence digital payments critics. The new app would do away with plastic cards and the point of sale machines once believed to be essential for a less cash society. 

The app, to be launched on December 25, would also eliminate the fee payments for service providers like card companies such as Mastercard or Visa, which has been a stumbling block in merchants switching to digital payments making it affordable to even merchants in remote villages, said people familiar with the development.All that it needs is an Android phone with the merchant. 

HOW TO USE AND WORK ?

Merchants need to download the Aadhaar cashless merchant app on their smartphones connected to a biometric reader, which is currently available for Rs 2,000. The customer will then feed his or her Aadhar number into the app, select the bank through which the transaction will take place, and the biometric scan will work as a password for the transaction to be authenticated. "This app can be used by a person to make payments without any 

phone,'' Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) CEO Ajay Bhushan Pandey told ET. "Almost 40 crore Aadhaar numbers already stand linked to bank accounts - that is half the adults in India. The aim is to link all Aadhaar numbers with bank accounts by March, 2017." 

The government, along with the regulator and payments companies, is working to ensure that the objective of making digital payments a reality across the country.

Bank along with UIDAI and National Payments Corporation of India have developed this app which would be launched at the national level on Sunday. The new technology was shown to finance Minister Arun Jaitley and information and technology minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on December 19.  The settlement is done through the Aadhaar bridge, which means it con nects a much wider set of people," said Rajiv Lall, MD & CEO at IDFC Bank."Anybody who has Aadhaar seeding done can make payments to merchants with this app. It wouldn't matter if the person does not have a credit or debit card, or even a mobile phone.''The acceptance of point of sale terminals in the country has been slow with only 15 lakh terminals deployed by various banks. 

SBI alone has deployed over 3 lakh terminals followed by HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank. 

Even though card payments made its way into Indian merchant establish way into Indian merchant establishments two decades ago, the acceptability has been poor due to the nearly 2-3% charges that merchants used to levy and the 2% charges the card companies like Mastercard or Visa used to levy. 

Furthermore, the lack of connectivity made it impossible for millions of merchants in the hinterland to adapt the card payment methods. There are over 15 lakh such machines for a population of 125 crore and nearly 5 crore merchants. If the 1.5 lakh bank branches in the country register even 20-25 merchants in their vicinity, it could boom.

भले ही एलजी स्मार्टफोन मार्केट में बहुत आगे ना हो, लेकिन इसमें कोई दो राय नहीं कि कंपनी कभी भी प्रयोग करने से कतराई नहीं है। पिछले तीन साल में कंपनी ने स्मार्टफोन टेक्नोलॉजी में हर बार कुछ नया करने की कोशिश की है। चाहे फ्लेक्सिबल कॉन्वेक्स फोन हों या मॉड्यूलर एक्सेसरी। अब एलजी सेकेंडरी स्क्रीन को लोकप्रिय बनाने की कोशिश में लग गई है। शुरुआत एलजी 10 से हुई। इसके बाद मिंड-रेंज सेगमेंट वाला एक्स स्क्रीन इस फ़ीचर के साथ आया, अब फ्लैगशिप एलजी वी20।

हमें एलजी एक्स स्क्रीन पसंद आया था। लेकिन सेकेंडरी स्क्रीन के अलावा इसके बाकी फ़ीचर थोड़े कमज़ोर थे। वी20 में इन कमियों को किया गया है, या कंपनी का यह वार भी खाली जाएगा? क्या एलजी को 2016 में एक और फ्लैगशिप फोन लॉन्च करने की ज़रूरत थी? क्या एलजी वी20 काम का फोन है?

एलजी वी20 लुक और डिज़ाइन
बड़े फोन इन दिनों चलन में हैं। वी20 इसी लीग का है। इसमें 5.7 इंच का प्राइमरी स्क्रीन है, लेकिन इसके ऊपर एक सेकेंडरी स्क्रीन है। एलजी ने स्क्रीन के किनारे वाले जगह को कम रखने की कोशिश की है। बावज़ूद इसके फोन बड़ा लगता है। सेकेंडरी स्क्रीन टॉप तक नहीं जाता। इसके ऊपर फ्रंट कैमरे के लिए जगह बनाई गई है।

यह फोन दिखने में ब्लैकबेरी ज़ेड10 जैसा लगता है, ख़ासकर स्ट्रिप, साइज़ और ईयरपीस की पोज़ीशन की वजह से।

बैकपैनल का डिज़ाइन ज़्यादा रोचक है। सबसे पहली बात, बैककवर को हटाना संभव है। यहां पर मॉड्यूलर एक्सेसरी के लिए कोई खास व्यवस्था नहीं की गई है। बैटरी हटाई जा सकती है। यहां पर आपको सिम और माइक्रोएसडी कार्ड स्लॉट मिलेंगे। जब आप प्राइमरी स्लॉट तक पहुंचने के लिए बैटरी निकालेंगे तो आपको पुराने दिनों की याद आएगी। दूसरे स्लॉट को आसानी से एक्सेस किया जा सकेगा, लेकिन वी20 को रीस्टार्ट किए बिना यह सिम को नहीं पहचानता।

बैकपैनल पर कैमरे का उभार नज़र आएगा। दो लेंस है। एक डुअल एलईडी फ्लैश के साथ लेज़र ऑटोफोकस विंडो भी है। गोलाकर फिंगरप्रिंट सेंसर कैमरे के उभार के नीचे है। यह पावर बटन का भी काम करता है। वी20 में एलजी ने वॉल्यूम बटन को एक बार फिर किनारों पर दिया है। पता नहीं पावर बटन के साथ ऐसा क्यों नहीं किया गया। रिव्यू के दौरान हम सेटअप से सहज नहीं हो सके।

वॉल्यूम बटन बायीं तरफ हैं, और दायां हिस्सा लगभग पूरी तरह से खाली है। बस निचले हिस्से में एक छोटा सा बटन है जिसका इस्तेमाल रियर पैनल को खोलने के लिए होता है। लेकिन यह बार-बार कैमरा बटन होने का एहसास देता है। निचले हिस्से में यूएसबी टाइप-सी पोर्ट है। और आखिर में एक आईआर एमिटर टॉप पर है।

यह एक बड़ा और वज़नदार फोन है। इसे हैंडल करना आसान नहीं है। एलजी ने वी20 में स्पेशल एल्यूमीनियम एलॉय का इस्तेमाल किया है। दावा किया गया है कि यह बेहद ही टिकाऊ है। हालांकि, हमें जो रिव्यू यूनिट मिला उसमें खरोंच और चोट के निशान थे। साफ है कि लॉन्च इवेंट में पत्रकारों को फोन की मजबूती दिखाने में चक्कर में रिव्यू यूनिट को जानबूझकर गिराया गया था।

एलजी वी20 स्पेसिफिकेशन
एलजी ने वी20 की कीमत फ्लैगशिप फोन के स्तर की रखी है। और ऐसे हार्डवेयर का इस्तेमाल किया है जो कीमत को जायज़ ठहराता है। स्क्रीन का डाइमेंशन 5.7 इंच है और रिज़ॉल्यूशन 1440x2560 पिक्सल है, जो बेहद ही शार्प है। कलर्स ब्राइट और सेचुरेटेड हैं। व्यूइंग एंगल बेहतरीन हैं। किनारे वाले बॉर्डर बेहद ही पतले हैं। इस वजह से स्क्रीन पर दिखने वाले कंटेंट पर फोकस करना आसान होता है। कमी सिर्फ शीशे में है जो बहुत रिफ्लेक्टिव है। और आसानी से दाग उठाता है।

प्रोसेसर क्वालकॉम स्नैपड्रैगन 820 है। इसके साथ 4 जीबी रैम का इस्तेमाल हुआ है। परफॉर्मेंस के मामले में कोई शिकायत नहीं होगी। हालांकि, आने वाले समय में यह वी20 की कमज़ोरी साबित होगी, ख़ासकर जब कम कीमत वाला वनप्लस 3टी स्नैपड्रैगन 821 प्रोसेसर और 6 जीबी रैम के साथ आता है।

इनबिल्ट स्टोरेज 64 जीबी है और ज़रूरत पड़ने पर 2 टीबी तक का माइक्रोएसडी कार्ड इस्तेमाल किया जा सकेगा। आपको वॉयस ओवर एलटीई के साथ 4जी कनेक्टिविटी मिलेगी। इसके अलावा वाई-फाई 802.11एसी, ब्लूटूथ 4.2, एनएफसी, इंफ्रारेंड और जीपीएस फोन का हिस्सा हैं। दो नैनो सिम कार्ड इस्तेमाल किया जा सकेगा। और बैटरी की क्षमता 3200 एमएएच की है।

कैमरा सेटअप थोड़ा रोचक है। पिछले हिस्से पर दो कैमरे हैं। एक 16 मेगापिक्सल का सेंसर है जो आम लेंस से लैस है। दूसरा सेंसर 8 मेगापिक्सल का है जिसमें वाइड-एंगल लेंस है। एलजी के इस सेटअप की अच्छी बात यह है कि दोनों एक साथ काम नहीं करते हैं। आप चाहें तो दोनों के बीच स्विच कर सकते हैं। फ्रंट पैनल पर 5 मेगापिक्सल का सेंसर हैं। इसमें आपको आम और वाइड-एंगल मोड में स्विच करने का विकल्प होगा।

वीडियो रिकॉर्डिंग की क्षमता 4के तक जाती है। एक मैनुअल मोड है जिसमें आपको आम सेटिंग्स मिलेगी। आप साउंड रिकॉर्डिंग को भी नियंत्रित कर सकेंगे।

एलजी ने वी20 की आवाज़ के लिए बीएंडओ प्ले के साथ समझौता किया है। फोन के साथ आपको बीएंडओ का हेडसेट मिलेगा।

एलजी वी20 सॉफ्टवेयर और सेकेंडरी स्क्रीन
एलजी का कस्टम एंड्रॉयड यूआई एलजी यूएक्स बहुत ज़्यादा कस्टमाइज़्ड वर्ज़न है। वी20 के साथ दिया गया वर्ज़न 5.0+ भी ऐसा ही है। होमस्क्रीन से लेकर प्रीलोडेड ऐप तक को मॉडिफाई किया गया है। एंड्रॉयड 7.0 नूगा को आप पहचान नहीं पाएंगे। कुछ काम के फ़ीचर भी दिए गए हैं, जैसे कि मल्टी विंडो। यह अच्छा काम करता है।

एलजी जी5 में कोई ऐप ड्रॉअर नहीं है। आप यूआई थीम चुन सकते हैं। आप चाहें तो उन्हें एलजी के स्मार्टवर्ल्ड ऐप से डाउनलोड भी कर सकते हैं। नोटिफिकेशन शेड में टॉगल कंट्रोल के कई पेज दिए गए हैं। एलजी ने कई थर्ड-पार्टी ऐप भी फोन में दिए हैं। एचडी ऑडियो रिकॉर्डर ऐप बेहद ही काम का है।

मुख्य आकर्षण सेकेंडरी स्क्रीन है। हम ये मानेंगे कि एलजी ने इस स्क्रीन को अलग-अलग परिस्थितियों में काम में लाने पर खूब सोचा है।

हमें पसंद आया कि एलजी के ऐप ने सेकेंडरी स्क्रीन को किस खूबसूरती से इस्तेमाल में लाया है, ख़ासकर वॉयस रिकॉर्डर और कैमरा ऐप ने।

एलजी वी20 परफॉर्मेंस
फोन में क्वालकॉम स्नैपड्रैगन 820 प्रोसेसर और 4 जीबी रैम का इस्तेमाल हुआ है। यह कई हाल के फ्लैगशिप फोन के बराबर नहीं है। 2016 के अंत में कई फोन स्नैपड्रैगन 821 प्रोसेसर और 6 जीबी रैम के साथ पेश किए गए। लेकिन परफॉर्मेंस से कोई शिकायत नहीं होगी। बेंचमार्क टेस्ट में अच्छे नतीजे आए।

आम इस्तेमाल में वी20 ने ज्यादातर मौकों पर अच्छी परफॉर्मेंस दी। कभी-कभार यूआई के कारण फोन धीमा ज़रूर हुआ। हमें यह बताते खुशी हो रही है कि फोन रिव्यू के दौरान कभी भी बहुत ज़्यादा गर्म नहीं हुआ।

स्क्रीन पर सिनेमा देखने और गेम खेलने का अनुभव सुखद रहा। सेकेंडरी स्क्रीन बेहद ही काम का है। हालांकि, कभी-कभार लैंडस्केप मोड में टेक्स्ट भी बेहद ही छोटे नज़र आए। वादे के मुताबिक, आवाज की क्वालिटी बेहद ही अच्छी थी। बिल्ट-इन-स्पीकर से ऊंची आवाज की उम्मीद कर सकते हैं। और इस दौरान भी यह काफी साफ रहती है। बीएंडओ हेडसेट की क्वालिटी अच्छी है। लंबे समय तक इस्तेमाल करने पर भी दिक्कत नहीं होती।

कैमरा ऐप बिखरा हुआ लगता है। आपको कई विकल्प मिलेंगे। हमें प्रो मोड पसंद आया, ख़ासकर साउंड रिकॉर्डिंग के मामले में। इमेज क्वालिटी बेहतरीन है। हम डिटेल वाले शॉट लेने में कामयाब रहे। कम रोशनी में भी अच्छी तस्वीरें आईं। हालांकि, इनमें नॉयज़ ज़्यादा थी।

फोकस आमतौर पर सटीक था, लेकिन कम रोशनी में थोड़ा धीमा। क्लोज़ अप शॉट सबसे अच्छे थे। वाइड-एंगल मोड पहली नज़र में बेहद ही नाटकीय लगा। हम कुछ नया भी कर पाए। वी20 ने दूसरे फोन की तुलना में ज़्यादा बेहतर आउटपुट दिया।

बैटरी लाइफ अच्छी है। आम इस्तेमाल में यह करीब डेढ़ तक चल गई। वीडियो लूप टेस्ट यह 9 घंटे 37 मिनट तक चली।

हमारा फैसला
एलजी वी20 को हरफनमौला बनाने की कोशिश हुई है। यह कई तरह की भूमिकाएं निभाना चाहता है, और ज़्यादातर मौकों पर सफल भी होता है। इस फोन में आपको डुअल कैमरे के साथ दो स्क्रीन मिलेंगे। इसके साथ मजबूत बॉडी और एंड्रॉयड 7.0 नूगा है। हमें लगता है कि एलजी डिजाइन को लेकर और बेहतर काम कर सकती थी। वहीं, सॉफ्टवेयर को भी और साफ-सुथरा होना चाहिए।

कई लोग फोन की कीमत जानते ही इसे खारिज कर देंगे। ज्यादातर मौकों पर गूगल के पिक्सल और ऐप्पल के आईफोन 7 को बेहतर विकल्प माना जाएगा। कमज़ोर स्टाइलिंग और पिछले जेनरेशन वाले स्पेसिफिकेशन की वजह से भी इसे नज़रअंदाज किया जाएगा। बावज़ूद इसके वी20 के बारे में विविधता और अनोखेपन के लिहाज से एक बार विचार किया जा सकता है। उम्मीद रखिए कि फोन 50,000 रुपये से कम में मिल जाए।

How much does a YouTuber with 1 million subscribers earn in a year?

You can easily enter the name of a YouTube channel and see the real estimations.

Generally, on YouTube you make around $1.5 - $4/1,000 views. When you hit 1,000,000 subscribers, at least 10% will go immediately to check out your new uploads.

If the topic is a trending one (such as tech reviews), then even more than 30-40% can go check your videos. What's even more interesting, the more viewers you have, the higher the videos will rank and so you get more exposure, more views, new subscribers, and thus, more money.

YouTube pays from their ads and to receive payment you will need a Google AdSense account, too.

Assuming that 10% of your subscribers check out your videos and assuming that you earn $2/1,000 views, a channel with 1,000,000 subscribers should earn  ~ $200/new video.

Keep in mind that when you have 1 Million subscribers, the growth of the channel is insane. I've been following a guy - MKBHD (Marques Brownlee) since he was a kid. He uploaded nearly 100 before he started to make any money and progress. He worked and worked until he made his fist 100,000 subscribers. From there, things grew fast to 1,000,000 within 1 or 2 years and from there.... within another 2 years he grew to 4,000,000+.

After you hit 1,000,000 subscribers, you will make another 20,000-50,000 each month organically if you upload at least 1-2 videos per week.

The boom in earnings will come from Amazon Associates if you review products (anything that can be bought from Amazon). For instance, tech reviewers (such as MKBHD) make tons of money by reviewing flagship smartphones, tablets, laptops, accessories and then including affiliate links to Amazon.

Think like this - the new iPhone is released - 2,000,000 views and affiliate links to all the versions. He makes $2,000 just from Ads and assuming that 0.1% of viewers purchase the iPhone (which costs $700 - $800 on Amazon) will convert into 2,000 customers, so 2,000 x $800 = $1,600,000 in revenue from which the tech reviewer gets 8% commission = $128,000.

I suppose that most of such YouTubers aren't seeking for views, they're seeking for traffic to send them elsewhere (an affiliate link, a blog, an email list, etc.).

The short answer is = between $2,000 and $100,000 / month, depending on what you do and what you record.

There’s a lot to like about WhatsApp Messenger: its cross-platform support, ability to create groups and share multimedia files. WhatsApp makes it very easy for users to upload and share pictures taken with their phone, but it may not be immediately obvious how to upload YouTube videos to share them with your friends and family members. This short article will teach you two ways that will enable you to easily share YouTube content under all circumstances.

Method 1: Direct Sharing

The most straightforward way how to share a YouTube video on WhatsApp is to post the URL link to your conversation window. The biggest advantage of this approach is that you and your partner will save data and time. This is what you need to do:

1. Open the video you want to share on YouTube.
2. Click on the share link located under the video.
3. You will be presented with various share options; choose the one that lets you copy the URL to the clipboard.
4. Head over to your WhatsApp conversation window and paste the link that you’ve just copied.
5. Send the message with the link.

WhatsApp will automatically recognize the content of the link and give your conversation partner a small preview of its content. Alternatively, you can just share directly to WhatsApp. Just be aware that you particular operating system might not support this option.

Method 2: Indirect Sharing

Sometimes you may have problems accessing YouTube directly. Perhaps your school or company is blocking access to it, and you still want to share the video with your friends on WhatsApp. In such case, we recommend you download the video to your device and upload it like you would any other video.

You can use an online video downloader such as ClipConverter, or you can use a dedicated application or software like TubeMate YouTube Downloader. All you have to do is copy and paste the video’s URL and your downloader will do everything for you.

The only think you should keep in mind is that WhatsApp limits the size of video recordings to 16MB. For this reason, it’s best to keep the quality down to 240p or 144p. If your video is too large, you could upload it do a cloud storage solution such as Dropbox or Google Drive and simply share the link to the uploaded file. This method lets you completely bypass YouTube and any potential restrictions that you could otherwise encounter.

It's really easy to get approved by Google Adsense through YouTube, but difficulty arises when we are trying to add a blogspot blog to that AdSense account, because it doesn't support non hosted website domain, since blogspot.com is a free domain name provided

AMOLED vs. IPS displays

One of the many choices you have when buying a new smartphone is display type. There are two major technologies on the market, AMOLED (or Super AMOLED) and IPS LCD, and both have their advantages and disadvantages. Here we'll explain exactly what you need to know about them without going too far into the complex technicalities of each approach.Right away it's worth pointing out that all the major manufacturers put a few proprietary technologies on top of the foundations laid by AMOLED or IPS LCD – technologies usually given a baffling custom name – and that's why two AMOLED smartphones may not match in terms of depth and quality even if they're of the same type. In other words the quality of a phone's display is about more than whether it uses AMOLED or IPS LCD.

While we can talk about the differences between AMOLED and IPS LCD in broad terms, if you want to know the standard of the screen on one particular device, individual reviews are always your best port of call. Differences between these two technologies have changed over the years, and will continue to change as new upgrades appear, so keep an eye on the newest updates from the major manufacturers.

AMOLED

AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) technology is now often seen in its next-generation Super AMOLED guise. With these displays, individual pixels are lit separately (that's the active matrix bit) on top of a thin film transistor (TFT) array that passes electricity through organic compounds (that's the OLED bit). It's a newer technology than IPS LCD and improves on it in some areas while still lagging behind in others.

At its heart OLED technology uses anodes and cathodes for electron flow through a very thin film; brightness is determined by the strength of the electron current. Color is controlled by the tiny red, green and blue light-emitting diodes built into the display. The best way of understanding it is to think of each pixel as its own independently colored, miniature light bulb on the screen.

  Colors are typically brighter with AMOLED and Super AMOLED, and blacks are darker because portions of the screen can be effectively turned off. This also leads to a theoretical improvement in battery life, but that depends on exactly how you're using the screen (if all the pixels are lit all the time, the inverse can be true with AMOLED being more power-hungry than IPS LCD).

AMOLED traditionally suffered from "burn in," where pixel quality degraded over time, though this is becoming less of a problem as the technology improves. Also in the negative column, they cost more to produce and can appear less sharp when viewed at very close range.

Samsung is Super AMOLED's biggest fan, and you'll often find its phones being talked about in terms of the vibrancy and vividness of the colors – that's Super AMOLED at work. The technology scores highly for gorgeous-looking colors and very deep blacks.

The key difference between Super AMOLED and the standard AMOLED (often used by the likes of Motorola) is that the former integrates touch sensors in the display itself, removing the need for an extra layer and often allowing for an overall thinner device.

Generally speaking Super AMOLED also offers better brightness and battery life, though again manufacturers are working hard to minimize the difference with their own improvements.

IPS LCD

In the other corner of the ring we have IPS LCD, or In-Plane Switching Liquid Crystal Display – as Super AMOLED is an upgrade on plain old AMOLED, so IPS LCD improves on the venerable (TFT) LCD technology. The mighty iPhone uses IPS LCD and from the manufacturers' point of view it's cheaper to produce, which is a bonus.

In essence, LCD uses polarized light which is then run through a color filter. Horizontal and vertical filters on either side of the liquid crystals control the brightness and whether or not each pixel is on or off. With the backlight included, the handsets are usually thicker – though as with many of these points progress is being made to fix that (and Apple's latest iPhones are notable exceptions).

All the pixels are backlit to some extent while the device is on, however, even the black ones. This means contrast and blackness can suffer (if you're watching a movie set in deep space, for example). On the upside, pixels can give the impression of being packed more closely together, aiding sharpness and clarity (something Apple is very keen on). IPS LCD is often spoken of as offering more natural colors; AMOLED screens can sometimes look a little over-saturated.

Viewing angles often aren't quite as good on IPS LCD as they are on AMOLED, broadly speaking, and again its the backlight to blame. On the other hand whites tend to come out better – the whites on an AMOLED screen can sometimes come across as slightly yellowy. Photographers tend to opt for IPS LCD displays as they show colours more accurately.

As well as Apple, LG is a big fan of the IPS LCD approach, and so is HTC. These displays can usually perform better in terms of their visibility in bright sunlight even if they're not quite as good for watching movies in a darkened room (as you can see, it's a tough call to pick one over the other).

Conclusion

There really is no winner when it comes to AMOLED vs IPS LCD, but it's still helpful to know what each technology involves. The quality of a screen primarily comes down to how a manufacturer applies its chosen standard, and a lot of potential problems on both sides – from battery drain to washed-out blacks – can be minimized with a high-quality production process.
